OUR HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Well, for Christmas eve this year, Tim fell and fractured his neck in 4 places. He is lucky to be alive. He also hit his head so hard that he developed a huge hematoma. He was taken to the ER at St. Joseph's Hospital. He spent about 2 weeks in intensive care. After he was given some medication for back spasms, he had an allergic reaction. It was so severe that Tim had to be intubated and put into a drug induced coma. Spencer was home for the Holidays so he took care of his Dad while he was in the hospital. Tim was released from the hospital and taken to a rehab inpatient clinic. He learned how to bath, feed and cloth himself so he could come home. Spencer left for school and my parents arrived to help. It was nice to spend time with them. Dad fixed and built anything I asked him to. They left and Jay came with his family for a week. Madelyn was delightful. Sheena told us that she is expecting a baby in september. We are so excited to have 2 new grandchildren. Stephanie is also expecting in October.
